OUR CSR FOCUS AREAS
ACP believes in social investment as a tool to promote socio-economic development. We are committed to designing structures that will strengthen and develop people’s skills and capacity to participate fully in society. Our Corporate Social Responsibility is structured to have a tripartite focus, which is Women Empowerment, Education and the Environment.
Following the gross lack of a domestic STEM workforce in Africa, Annan Capital Partners as part of its long-term goals envisions to build a state-of-the-art orphanage that will prioritize STEM education and focus on increasing the subscription of women and girls’ in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programs.
As a company committed to skills advancement and capacity development, we believe Africa is in a prime position to educate a new highly skilled workforce (particularly with STEM skills), grow its economy, and compete with some of the world’s biggest players.

The Government of Ghana has demonstrated a renowned emphasis and focus on secondary education by making it free and compulsory.
it has also reiterated its commitment to support Science, Technical, Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics Education (STEM) in furtherance of making Ghana an industrialized nation. The government’s policy direction for education aligns well with Annan Capital’s goal of enhancing STEM education in Ghana through its Social Investment Programme. ACP is committed to climate change and biodiversity in an effort to ensure environmental sustainability. This commitment is evident in ACP’s focus areas on the environment, underpinned by the following guiding principles:
- To adopt a strategic approach to promote biodiversity
- Increase public awareness and focus on climate change and provide workable solutions to address environmental and climate challenges
- Increase awareness of plastics and create awareness on alternative ways to reduce plastic implications on the environment and the climate.

Our approach to CSR is underpinned by three themes, this is to inform the organization’s basis for delivering quality business value to our clients as well as create opportunities for economic growth and development in the countries where we operate. The approaches we deploy in CSR include; socio-economic approach, environmental and stakeholder engagement approaches.
Socio-Economic Approach
Our aim is to create value for society and contribute positively to capacity development in the countries where we have our operations. Our Societal Approach is based on close collaboration and open dialogue with authorities, partners, and professionals who believe in the service we provide to our ultra-high net worth clients and to the global economy at large. In terms of the Economy, ACP is committed to initiating social investment programs that will build the capacity of young Ghanaians to take up entrepreneurial and development opportunities for economic advancement. This will promote creativity, innovation, and employment in the countries where we operate.
Environmental Approach
ACP’s approach to the environment is set to achieve the below objectives
- To adopt a strategic approach to promote bio-diversity
- Increase public awareness and focus on climate change and provide workable solutions to address environmental and climate challenges
- Increase awareness of plastics and create awareness on alternative ways to reduce plastic implications on the environment and the climate
Stakeholder Engagement Approach
Our stakeholder engagement process adopts a two-way approach underpinned by continuous stakeholder consultations that promote mutual understanding between the expectations of the firm, our clients, partners and that community of people we seek to build and develop their capacity.
